Because the year 2018 marks 215 years of Haitian independence, the Festival\u2019s theme will be \u2018Hommage \u00e0 Ha\u00efti et ses talents\u2019 [A tribute to Haitian talent], all the while commemorating the #MeToo global movement that inspires women to take a stand and speak up. This will take place on the Festival\u2019s closing night. From February 22 to 25, Fade to Black will celebrate Black History Month with a program featuring film, comedy, music, and discussions.
